What to Expect
An intake form is completed at the initial visit. Your session begins with a brief discussion about your health, well-being, stresses and concerns. Then, you lie face up on a massage table and relax.
Marian uses biofeedback and builds a picture of what the body needs help with. The BodyTalk technique respects your own body’s healing priorities. Marian uses a variety of non invasive techniques to restore better communication and harmony within the body/mind to initiate your body’s natural healing abilities. This usually involves some gentle tapping techniques.
Your body/mind stores the changes made during the session. This means that every session builds on the one before. Your body remembers each session it receives and your healing process will continue with each additional session you have.
Generally, people feel some stress has released. It can help you feel like a clear, calm version of your best self!
What is BodyTalk?
Just as the body heals a wound with a particular sequence of bio-chemical, physical and energetic responses, the body addresses all healing in a certain order. This concept is vital in the BodyTalk balancing process to encourage the body's ability to heal itself by the fastest means possible.
Marian relies on the guidance of the body's natural wisdom to not only locate the weakened or broken lines of communication and establish how to re-connect them, but also to find the proper order in which they are to be restored. This is accomplished through a form of neuromuscular biofeedback, by which Marian is able to ask the body yes-or-no questions and receive answers directly from the body about the sequence for re-establishing these lines of communication.
Through exposure to the stresses of day to day life, communication becomes compromised, which then leads to a decline in physical, emotional and/or mental health. Revealing and reconnecting these lines of communication in the proper priority enables the body’s mechanisms to function at optimal levels, rapidly accelerating the healing process. This allows long-lasting, ongoing improvements rather than short-term symptomatic relief.
It is non-invasive and works effectively and safely on people and animals.
